Gatimaan Express - The most awaited fastest train in india, Gatimaan Express, has completed its final trial run completed on Jun 3 on New Delhi-Agra Track. Train in final run completed 195Km in 115 minutes which is 10 minutes later then the expected time.Bhopal Shatabdi was said the fastest train prior to gatimaan with top speed of 155km/h.

Gatimaan is awaiting the mandatory security clearance from the Commissioner of Railway Safety.

Here are few facts about the medium high speed train of India.

• Completing  the stretch of New Delhi to Agra(195Kms) in 105Minutes with a top speed of 160kmph.
• Gatimaan Express, will be equipped with a 5,400HP electric locomotive and 12 modern coaches.
• The Fare will be 25%  more then the shatabdi. One-way fare of AC-Chair will be Rs 690 while Rs 1,365 for the executive class.

• The train features extra advance facilities like automatic fire alarm, emergency braking system along with the passenger information system and sliding doors inside the coaches.
• A LCD of eight inches will be fixed behind each seat.
• There will be 12 regular coaches excluding 2 spare Coaches.
• As per schedule it will start from New Delhi at 8 am and reach Agra by 9.45am. On its journey back, the train will start from Agra at 5.30 pm are reach Delhi at 7.15pm.
